I’ve always struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember. I’ve tried every diet under the sun at least 5 times and never been able to get long term results. As I’ve gotten older it’s become harder to lose weight and as a result I’d became disillusioned with the whole process. Throwing the towel in quicker than I used to.

My resolve has hardened over the last few months and recent increases in plants in my diet (not going full vegan, more just cutting down on my meat intake) have started to show promise.

As a result I’ve now got into my head that I’ll be able to run 20km, I’ve tried and failed in the past to run for any measurable distance. Couch to 5k ended for me when I found myself limping around a local sports field looking like I’d been shot.

This blog is going to be my dumping ground for all the thoughts, wins and losses that I go through. Thank you for reading and enjoy the journey with me.
